Recognizing and Preventing Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment in the workplace is costly, illegal behavior that needs to be recognized and stopped. This highly interactive program provides human services managers with concepts and tools to recognize and interrupt harassing workplace behavior directed at themselves and others. Using real life scenarios, participants explore what they and their agency can do to ensure a respectful work environment free of sexual and other prohibited harassment.

This session takes place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3rd in Dedham at TILL, Inc.

In this session, you will learn how to:

  • Become more adept at recognizing and responding to sexual harassment;
  • Understand the business, legal and human impact of harassment;
  • Recognize components of a well-crafted policy prohibiting harassment; and
  • Clarify manager’s role in maintaining the harassment-free workplace.
