Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program Information Session- closed- waitlist available
Recent comments from the U.S. Department of Education, along with American Student Assistance's direct student loan borrower experience, suggest that many borrowers who are eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program do not have a clear understanding of how this program works or may not know of its existence at all. The Providers' Council is hosting a free, member-exclusive information session with ASA's Center for Consumer Advocacy on April 28th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to help widen public understanding of college financing and repayment as both an education and economic concern. Participants will learn about the PSLF program and other student loan options and opportunities for relief that they will be able to share with others at their organizations.
In this session, you will learn:
- What loans are potentially eligible for PSLF;
- How to apply; and
- How to maintain eligibility for the program.
