Facilitating Organizational Change

Incremental and strategic change choices can transform organizational processes, producing positive outcomes throughout an agency. This introductory workshop will be a deep dive into critical concepts surrounding organizational change. The workshop will begin with a discussion of WHY public service organizations must embrace and learn from change. Facilitator and registrants will review various models of organizational change processes, offering participants a variety of tools and approaches for introducing and implementing change in their agencies. They will discuss the real and complex obstacles to change, focusing primarily on ways to avoid and/or head off these obstacles. Practical examples will be presented.  Participants are encouraged to bring their successes, failures, and questions to the discussion for mutual learning!
