We provide half-day and full-day professional development opportunities for human service employees, typically attended by 20-40 human service employees. Our trainings are interactive learning experiences where participants benefit not only from seasoned instructors but also from their peers.

The Providers' Council accepts proposals from consultants, professional groups and practitioners. We are interested in the following topics for supervisors, managers and executives, and will consider other topics that you may feel are relevant to our audience:

    This training provides key knowledge, skills, tools and resources to learn how to effectively deal with coworkers' difficult behaviors.

    Members are invited to participate in our Annual Meeting from 9 AM - 11:30, where we will elect our new Board, review our accomplishments from 2009, and hear reports from the President/CEO, Chair, and Treasurer of the Providers' Council. Members and non-members can join us for lunch, followed by "The Power of Branding," a dynamic branding and communications seminar for nonprofits from 12:00 - 2:30 PM.

This six-part series trains new supervisors in the following key areas: communication and leadership, performance management, conflict management, situational leadership and group planning and decision making.
