We invite you to be a part of our 35th Annual Convention and Expo for human service providers. Our theme, in light of the challenges this year, is It's About People!

This event is the largest of its kind in New England, with over 1,000 individuals from nonprofit human services providers, businesses and state agencies expected to attend. The Convention & Expo will be held on November 1, 2010 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.

Do you have knowledge or expertise that would help professionals in human services?

Our convention provides wide exposure to the human service community, and the workshops are advertised in our registration brochure, on our website and in the Convention program booklet. Convention presenters receive complimentary admittance to the entire Convention & Expo. We do not offer presenters an honoraria or expenses, other than for limited copying, which must be pre-approved by the Providers' Council.

We are looking for presentations related to evidence-based practice, clinical skills, employment law, new regulations, fundraising and other topics.

If you'd like to make sure your topic is of interest before preparing the complete proposal, send Sara Morrison Neil a quick email with topic and brief description.

The workshops are 90 minutes long. If selected, your workshop would begin either at 11 am or 2:30 pm. The number of workshop attendees range from 20-120.

To propose a workshop, you will need to complete our workshop proposal form which is online. If you have more than one workshop to propose, simply send a follow up email to your your initial completed proposal form to smorrison@providers.org with the additional workshop and co-presenter information.
